One | Little Fox Lettering Co.

As many have seen already, I have opened my very own Etsy shop called Little Fox Lettering Co. and I couldn’t be more excited! I have added a few new prints as well as a few new coffee mug options, so I’d love it for you to check it out. Starting a new business, especially competing with all the other fantastic shops out there, is exciting but a daunting new venture for me. I have been doing some homework lately about how to be successful with it, which has been helping out a lot in the anxiety department. But much like when I first started blogging, starting a business is also a slow journey and the biggest thing I’ll need is patience. Lots of patience.

I am also hosting a GIVEAWAY for anyone who is interested. All you have to do to enter is simply follow me on social media and Etsy! The winner will receive a free print of their choice as a thank you for all of those who support this new shop of mine.

Two | How To Be a Mom-trepreneur Without Sacrificing Your Family

One of my most recent posts was on the subject of beginning, or maintaining, a business and balancing it with family life. Is it possible to have both? To be a mom and run your own business? I think so and there are so many examples of moms out there who run successful projects whether it’s their blogs or other businesses. So as I continue my own journey, I’m sharing a few things I’ve learned along the way.

Any advice you would give for moms looking to start a new business? What has helped you be successful?

Three | Beautycounter

I have a friend who is a consultant for Beautycounter and was first introduced to their line of products last year when I won a little giveaway she was having on her Facebook page. I was gifted the baby line of body wash and it was luxurious and smelled so good! This year it seems as though more friends, and even my blogger friend Emily over at her blog Ember Grey, have become consultants and I am so excited for them!

I love the mission of the company, which is to provide high-quality skincare and cosmetics without the use of toxic ingredients. Did you know that the U.S. don’t even regulate these toxic ingredients and that the founder and CEO is working diligently in Congress to make these toxins illegal to use in skincare and makeup products? I mean, wow. Our skin is probably our most abused thing on our bodies and after using their face wash, eye cream, and charcoal bar, I’m a believer that safe skincare is possible! If you haven’t already, I urge all of you to try some of their products and see for yourself why I’ll never shop anywhere else for my skincare needs!

Four | Playdates Outside

In California, right as summer hits us, we experience a season called May Gray and June Gloom. This happens along the coastline where the morning fog lingers and eventually burns off towards the afternoon. It’s gray and gloomy out for most of the day, hence the name, but lately the sun has been shining and Greyson and I have been taking advantage! I always try to spend an hour a day outside, whether it be going for a walk, playing with him outside with his toys, or going to the pool. I want to capitalize on these sunny days while I have them during this gloomy time of year.

Five | House of Cards

Is anyone else watching?! I was so excited for the newest season to premiere and so far, only a few episodes into their fifth season, it doesn’t disappoint. With all the craziness going on for us in America politically, and over the world, it’s nice to take a break through T.V.; although a lot of what is featured in this show is actually playing out which is kind of crazy. Another favorite new show on Hulu is The Handmaid’s Tale!

Any shows you’re currently obsessed with?

Linking up with Erika, Katie, and Amanda.
