Part two of our journey takes us to our time spent checking out all of the views that the coastline had to offer us while we were staying in Cambria. The cooler temperatures kept the fog lingering and I really enjoyed the mood it brought with it. It was relaxing for me in a way and allowed my mind to slow down to take the whole experience in.
We walked along the boardwalk, which took us up to a peak where we had an amazing view of the crashing waves upon the rocks that lay below. The morning we left we were able to catch a glimpse of the seals who call this area home, which was a fun sight. And a thank you to my husband who was excited to venture out on the rocks in order to capture great photos of the seals!
How adorable are these tiny home cottages that are available to rent on the beachfront? Moonstone Cottages provides three independent cottages that boast private accommodations and are perfect for those that crave their privacy but want to enjoy all that the beachfront has to offer such as those beautiful sunrises and sunsets, marine life, and access to the boardwalk and local restaurants.
Be sure to check back next week for part three, the final part of our trip up to Cambria, where I share with you the opulence that is Hearst Castle. Until then, be sure to check out part one of our staycation below!
